Back to the daily grind after a nice vacation away from school stresses in Hong Kong. Thailand was absolutely amazing. We spent 3 days in Bangkok - mainly shopping and trying different foods. We joined a boat tour and saw some gorgeous temples. My favorite had to be the Temple of Dawn. Even though it was slightly older and less glamorous and shiny as some of the temples in the Grand Palace, the intricate detail of engraved stone (at least I think it was stone) and the discoloration of it showing it's age really gave it character.
Phuket was a dream! Gorgeous sunshine and amazing beaches. We went elephant riding, hiked up to Bangapae waterfall, snorkelled at so many different islands. It was the more vacationy part of our vacation.
