Well, we have finally made it to cairns and are now on the last part of our trip in Oz.We had only been here 3 days when we managed to sell the car for a little more than we expected, which was a bloody big bonus because we were relying on this money for Newzealand. We were really sad to see it go because it has been our home for the last 6 months and Jan even shed afew tears(my eyes lit up when i got that money back in my hands). We have therefore been walking everywhere, its been preety good weather, so thats good news actually its roasting so we've been uv dodging this week,Jan burn her head(i just think i was an excuse to get the cow boy hat she wanted)
The friends that we have been travelling with have now left to search for work,but we have met afew other couples,one of which took us to Palm cove (a little further up the coast) for a days fishing. That was a good afternoon but we were only catching small ones until i stole the show with a whopper right at the end,unfortunately we lost it trying to get it out the water so i couldn't get a photo(and it was my biggest catch yet)but it wasn't a good eating fish so we wasn't too bothered.
