14.09.07 and 07-08.10.07
I didn't do much in Frankfurt and these pictures were either taken on September 14 or October 08, but for the sake of one journal entry, they're all labeled October 08.
My trip started and ended in Frankfurt, a city of banks, skyscrapers, multi-ethnic dining in a small radius, sex shops, a pretty river with walking paths and one town square resembling what Epcot Center says Germany looks like.
I did see a bunch of guys rowing, an old man without a shirt grunting/singing as he jogged, a lesbian couple making out on the walking path forever (and Jess saw them there in the afternoon still). I also ate amazing Italian food on my cousin's company, enjoyed walking around the Bookfair for a few hours, and watched "Quiz Taxi"... "Cash Cab", but in Koln.
The door keycard has a strange, somewhat disconcerting quote on it: "Not knowing when the dawn will come I open every door." I don't really want hotel keycards to open every door!
And I saw a tv commercial for Sauerkraut. Amen.
My honestly unbelievable month in Europe.
