Raining - not too cold
Observation: No Eating or Drinking Signs USA: hamburger and soft drink cup Prague: wine bottle, sausage, bread (?)
Attempted to go to Kladno despite rain. Saw no ticket windows or machines. Got intimidated, went to National Museum. It was closed for repair until tomorrow.
If Sunday was "Music Day" and yesterday was "Church Day" then today was "Art Day".
I went to the National Gallery exhibit in the main square. I considered the gardens because the sun came out a little, but then it started pouring. I walked to the National Theater to see about tours, but they had none I could see. I would around back street to get back to Karlove Ul. and stopped in at a Surrealist gallery.
From there I stopped at my favorite bakery and bought a chocolate crossaint. I also stopped by the jewelry shops. Asked about the smalled, GORGEOUS, garnet necklace... 15,000 kc!! I bought a matching bracelet and necklace at the glass store.
I did go to the Mucha exhibit. I'm not a huge art deco fan but his art is fascinating. It is totally that out of control 1920's feeling, but the women are so beautiful.
I spoke more Czech today than yesterday. Still not much. I understood the guide at the landscape exhibit saying "Go in there" and the ladies at the ticket desk were really cute, speaking Czech and English to me and babysitting my water bottle.
