Monday's Observations:
"Coke" and "Ok" are universal terms T-shirts with English sayings tend to be vulgar Czechs have better shoes than us, but wear those terrible small tshirts that show midrift. ALL streets here are cobblestone.
Saw lots of kids today, including a tram full of school kids waving to whomever. And a tiny Asian girl who just burst out crying in the middle of the cathedral. She was done.
Today the portrait artist on Charles Bridge had Legolas on display. Yesterday there was a Harry Potter. This guy with a deep voice was speaking in ... Russian? He said, "russianrussian Harry Potter russianrussian".
I sat in a free courtyard under trees with long skinny seed pods (like foot long string beans) and listened to amazingly talented musicians practicing a flute sonata. It was beautiful.
I copied a few words from the menu today (I can't get the accents on the words on the computer, sorry!)
kureci - chicken slanina - bacon sunka - ham syr - cheese
As I was passing the Sex Machines Museum tonight this older man says to his wife, "everyone in there is smiling". It was funny, there were actually women in there tonight, too.
