This thunderstorm will not cease, and I refuse to acknowledge it from anywhere but my window.
I light some candles and put on some music. I take out my book and spend a few hours in a fictional universe. Jacey and I have our favorite local pizza, Cambalache, brought to our doorstep. After the pie is demolished, we consummate our slothfulness with a delivery of gelato (Persicco). Life is good.
And when David, the editor of BA Insider Magazine, responds back to my job application from the weekend, the day is even better. Even if the first article he assigns me is about getting in shape for the summer.
