Nothing is exactly what I did for the rest of the weekend. It was actually quite pathetic. Relaxing, though, because I’ve been constantly on the go. Yesterday Katie and I literally spent half the day watching TV. Then she went grocery shopping while I did a lot of homework. We walked over to the internet train so that we could download Grey’s - aka more TV shows to watch. This sounds even more pathetic in writing.
Well, the best part of the day was I made a really good dinner! This cooking thing is going a lot better than I thought it would. It was spinach ravioli with pesto and melted cheese. After dinner we hung out for a little and then went out with Alex (Cali), Lexi, Jackie, and our friends Shannon and Jess who live above us. I was actually pretty exhausted (from my obviously exhausting day) so I came home a little early and went to sleep.
Today I woke up nice and early and actually got a lot of homework done. The professors assign a ton of reading here. I also have a few papers to write for the next 3 weeks. I’ve gotten a few out of the way, but I need to do a few more.
Katie’s mom and aunt got here today. They had a good flight, but all of their luggage is lost. Big bummer. Katie spent the whole day with them. The four of us went out to dinner at a little Pizzeria a few stores down from our apartment. We had been there our first week here and it’s really good. Katie, her mom, and I split two pizzas. One was the Vegetariana (which is my favorite). After dinner we were planning on going to a wine festival across the river. Well, we got almost there and Alex (Cali) called and said it was over. Oh well.
That’s really about it. I just finished doing more reading for class. It’s only 10 at night, but I’m pretty tired. Good thing I’m already in bed...
