Well friends, it seems as if September came and went in an instant. October is here tomorrow morning, and fall weather is fully underway in Oslo this year. Already have the leaves changed to yellows and reds, and when the wind blows, it is cold.
Classes at the University of Oslo are also well underway. Each class meets but once a week, which leads to a splendidly conducive educational environment. Let us not be hasty with words; the reading load per week is heavy no doubt. Fortunately, our hero loves to read, especially such fine Norwegian works as Peer Gynt, Sunny Hill, and The Birds.
It seems that life is quite pleasant here. It is truly a wonder that today the Canadian dollar is worth 99 American cents! Americans, do you realize!
