Day started off harsh, with the hangover from hell from my leaving party from Astor... had to pack, which was done in 5mins before i had to leave (best way i say, if it's that important, buy it again or live without it!)
The steady Regional Italain rattler was boarded to Rome and the 12 day, Smith and Monopulli Mission had set sail!
Dissonanze was set out of the centre of Rome, so was a bit of a mission to get too, but it was right at the end of the Tube line so not that stressful, should have bought some beer for the journey though!
On arrival and a nice walk all around the venue, as we couldn't find the entrance, we were ready for some XLT's and to pull off some Phat shapes!
Formalities out of the way, 3 Rooms, which one was on the roof and beer was 5 euros, so nay bad.
Saw the Battles for a start, as expected a little wierd, they were playing on the roof, which was cool, but felt for them when it started pissing with rain, the equipment got soaked as they did! In England we stick everyone in a tent, we have too i guess... the italians... well, that will learn them!!
Other highlights of the evening were Nathan Fake and Phil Hortnoll, Hortnoll mixed it up big time, going from playing his classic Satan, whipping in a bit of Bon Jovi then randomly a bit a Darkness was ushered through... he must have done something right as he played a 2 1/2 hour set which felt like 30 mins!
