I’m really losing track of the days in Italy. I have been her for a month tomorrow – can you believe that?
My Mom and Aunt Sherry are coming to visit for 2 whole weeks. Their flight gets in on Sunday and I am going to pick them up from the airport.
I have a lot of fun things planned while they are here. For one, a friend here is an awesome cook and he is going to make all of us (my roommates and mom and aunt) a dinner to die for! I am also going to show them the sights all the tourists love to see. When I am in class I know my mom and sherry will love having their cappuccino, their hotel is close to the 2 best places in town for coffee. (ok, Dad – I will stop bragging about how much fun we are going to have, I don’t want you to be too jealous! ?)
Right now I am off to school to get some research done for a paper and them Emily and I are going to brave the post office again. This place is seriously confusing!
On Friday all the roommates are headed to Sienna for a day trip. Some of the girls are sleeping over but I am going to come home to save money and also to get some homework done Saturday. I was going to go to Germany this weekend to visit my friend Irina and for Oktoberfest, but flights are really expensive (200 euro) so I couldn’t afford it. I talked to her this week though and we are going to get together soon!
Tomorrow we have our first Italian quiz, ugh! I really stink at learning languages plus everyone here at least knows a little English so we never have to use the Italian we learn.
Oh well, I’ll just have to study!
