Well i finally made it off! Was really hard to say good bye to everyone especially you mum, dad, lisa, tina, wink and wee sid! Missin u's already but really enjoyin myself over here...so dont worry...especially u mum!
Just sittin somewere in st peterburg here this place is so different! Flights were great and got a window seat :) was so chuffed. So landed in st.peterbury about half 1 the time at home...it was half 4 so 3 hours ahead over here. The cars are wee bangers and every one has a bump on it somewere. I managed to get a taxi flaged down at the airport so saved the hassle of the buses esp because its all gobbly gook to me, ther writing is mad. They are crazy drivers over here. My wee taxi man hit about 4 cars and just gave the fingers and drove on...was mad thought i was never gonna make the hostel lol. I was squelling and he was laughtin his head off and could speak a word of english except to tell me to sing sing sing lol.
Hostel is grand the rooms and showers etc are pretty clean but from the outside it looks like a hole...but alls good. Arrived late at hostel because the customs at the airport took ages was really annoying. Went for some food...got some 'bosch' which is like a meaty soup was pretty good...surprised myself lol. After went on a boat trip at nite it rained for the rest of the evening and was so so so cold...i was glad i had my woolly hat and fleece. That was it for the nite and hit the bed completely shattered!
Tuesday...today got up early and walked around all the sites here. There are millions and millions of palaces and churchs all of them havin some pure gold on them. They are amazin. Went to the Winter Palace and the Hermitage museum that was great. Then onto the church of the spilled blood, its really nice, it was a prison and torture place back in the day, good history there.
Got the metro back to hostel...was crazy! Mmm...got ready to head out to the ballet but it isnt on tonite so im here now typin like a crazy woman before my time runs out lol...tryin to save on the pennys lol. Think we r headin for a bit of food and then onto the Revolution club...cant wait its gonna b fun.
Forgot to bring my camera card to put the pics up so they are still to come...hopefully 2moro i should have them up. Last day here in st petersbury tomoro then catch the overnite train at 12am to Moscow so sleep all the way yey! Well i better fly on here for now...and thanx for all the messages im loving them...keep them comin!!
