I am in a PC bang as usual. I've just read a couple of the journals I wrote several months ago. Since, I don't spend time editing any of them, I'm pleased that my journals aren't filled with grammatical, syntactical errors and the like. Were that true, I'd have to walk the streets of Pohang with my head down. Anywho, that isn't the case and I can raise my head high. I can do that until someone points out the many errors they have found in my writings. One option would be for me to hire that person to edit my journals. After all, if they have the time to read all of my journals, and offer criticisms, then they probably can go one step further.
This past weekend was special. I went to a Salsa class here in Pohang. The Typhoon arrived that same night. The rain wasn't pouring at the beginning of the class, but it was coming down like cats and dogs by the end. I went home drenched in rain water! Sure, I was happy to have spent the evening dancing, but the fact that I was soaked changed my mind about the night.
Luke's back at home in New Zealand. Ken has moved to Jinju. Those guys were my buddies. They lived just a hop, skip, and jump from my apartment. Apparently, Rebecca lives close to me, but we don't see each other often.
I went to church in Pohang for the first time two weeks ago. That was another fun day. There was a picnic held at Handong University. I played volleyball with church-goers, and students, and faculty of the University. Our team won!
The Korean Thanksgiving holiday, Chuseok, starts next week. It's a welcome change my daily routine. I will probably find myself back in Seoul, Busan, and Gyeoung-Ju during that week.
There aren't any new revelations for this week. I simply am enjoying my time in Pohang. Wait! I remember the highlight of my week. It occurred when I ordered food to be delivered to my apartment. You can't forget that I live in Korea, so I had to speak Korean to accomplish this task. Sure, my language skills aren't perfect, but I was able to get the job done. I'm making progess, and that's good news.
My contract ends in February, so I have plenty of time to see many more things in Korea. I plan to do just that.
