Paris Layover

2007-09-08, Paris, France

The first thing we had to try to adjust to was the fact that once we landed in Paris, they are nine hours ahead of us here in California. We made excellent time and arrived in Paris 40 minutes ahead of schedule at 10am in the morning. The inflight meals weren’t too bad. I had a nice grilled salmon filet and wild rice for dinner and a small continental breakfast before landing. They had a nice selection of in flight movies to choose from and now that each seat has it’s own monitor to view, I was able to get caught up on several movies I had missed in the theatre; Pirates of the Carribean III, Spider Man III, Shrek the III, Fracture and parts of Ocean’s 13.

It was a beautiful, sunny and warm day when we landed at Charles de Gaul Aiport. But we had nearly a four hour layover before our next flight would leave for Munchin and it was uncomfortably warm inside the airport terminals, not to mention the amount of walking we had to do just to get to where we needed to be. We did manage to find a nice Pub in terminal 2D where we were able to kill a couple of hours and grab a little something to eat before we boarded our flight to Munich at 3:30

Next entry: Arrived in München
