The Palace of Reason

Very cool. Unfortunately, the reason I went yesterday was because we have to give a presentation on it tomorrow. Yuck! But it was soo cool! The original roof was torn off in a tornado and a naval architect rebuilt it to look like a ship turned upside down! And there's a huge wooden horse inside, looks a bit like the Trojan horse. There's also the Stone of Penitence, or something like that that St. Anthony (I think) put there.

Don't ask me why or how.

There's also a Focault pendulum. And on the South wall (where the entrance is) there's a small golden sun with a tiny hole in it that creates a line across the room at midday. And the walls are covered in frescoes of zodiac signs and planets and cool stuff like that.

Very fun.

Now I need to basically take all of that and put it in Italian. And add in all the history. Ew.
