|  | | solutions (?) | | | | | As it happens we had a staff meeting that went rather well yesterday. Issues bubbled up like Peas Porridge and were addressed rather positively and progressively. We were also informed that there will be "positive discipline" training for us tomorrow so we may learn a few tricks for dealing with unwieldy characters in the classroom. In a less professional vein I spent the evening with some of the Thai teachers and staff talking predominantly about non-work related topics, which served both as a great distraction and opportunity to practice Thai conversation. It also got me in on most of the juicy teacher's lounge gossip. As a rule I don't generally care for gossip, but it was very refreshing to have different conversations other than talking strictly about work and/or electronic correspondence.
