Our final stop on our 3 month journey…this is a beautiful old port town in the north, 2 hours drive from Florina, on the Agean Sea. It is the second largest city in Greece. Its main bars and restaurants are found around the city centre aquare where we happen to be staying. The main shopping strip is located on the street behind us so we are in the middle of all the action, yet we decided to spend the last four days of our vacation laying by the pool and enjoying the sun (before we hit London and turn back into the white ghosts we left in Melbourne some 3 months ago). The weather throughout our trip in Greece has been sunny and very hot. All we see on the news is the number of fires blazing out of control.
