Sopping wet

I've been exploring the neighboring villages in the evenings on my co-workers bicycle and yesterday I found a very intreguing little town called Ban Hong Dong. This evening I thumbed my nose at the dark clouds overhead and decided to explore all the same. This village is about 8 km from the school here and as I was passing the temple on my way back it started to rain. Monsoon season. By the time I got back it was dark out and there was pink sheet lighting in the clouds over-head. My ride through the torrent resulted in a small patch at the back of my arse remaining the only dry spot on me, and that was undoubtedly thanks to the bike seat. Guess we know what happens when one thumbs ones nose at ominous clouds in the tropical rainy season.

At least it was warm.
