Tone and I recently did a three day tour to Kakadu National Park. Throughout the tour we swam, or should I say Tony swam, in water that tends to admit the odd salt water crocodile! The guide says that this is totally normal to swim in these areas but I was not convinced! I sat firmly on the side although I was worried about what I would do if I saw one???
During the tour we went through rivers (obviously croc infested) in the 4wd, I was sat in the front and got wet up to the top of my walking boots.
In the evenings we bush camped and the guys, including Tone, enjoyed Kangaroo steaks. We also learnt to play the didgeridoo although Tony was a lot better at it than me!
