Ngepi Camp, Namibia wins Camp of the Year Again!!

Congratulations!!!!!!

We just learned in an email from Margie that Ngepi was voted Camp of the Year in a contest hosted by a regional travel magazine which cannot mention by name for fear the editors of this site will delete it. Some copyright consideration or some such. Just suffice it to say that the name is the same as one of our favorite birds in Africa, Getaway.

Backpackers can arrive and leave by a combination of bus or taxi or combi and a pickup by Ngepi Camp. This takes some planning and research so contact the the helpful staff via Ngepi Camp website.

Those with their own transport will arrive quicker of course, and the campsites are great. The "tree houses" are very exotic if one is not equipped to camp or would prefer to sleep on a bed!

Ngepi is a magic place, and we hope to return again for a third visit the next time we come to Africa!
