Hey
Today we left Wellington by ferry. We got the ferry about 12.30pm and arrived in Picton by 3.30pm. The ride was really smooth, once we could see south island, the scenery was really beautiful! The boat went past a lot of small islands called Marlbough Sounds. It was really hilly and that what made it incredible to look at.
When we got off in Picton we had a little walk around the centre, which didn't take long cos it was a really small town! Then we made our way to Nelson. On the way we made several stops to take pictures cos it was so beautiful. The roads were really windy though and cupboards and drawers in the van kept opening!
We arrived in Nelson about 6.30 and stayed in a campsite overnight.
