| | | Pai = Sabai sabai | | | | | So I recently had a holiday and whent to this great little hippie town called Pai. I went with some of the other teachers, and as it was Mother's day we had 5 days. On one day we hiked for hours through the jungle up this stream and then came back and in the evening we found an awsome little bar where they were playing amazing accoustic music and then a Gypsy style band played as well. Very cool. The next day more we got scooters and went to a waterfall where I swam in my trousers. We kept going back to the Art Bar to see the music and I eventually became friends with the hip owners and staff and some of the band members so I hung out with them a few nights and through the day. The bar owner said that I can come work there when I finish in Mae Taeng. Is it too early to start the count down? heheh. It was great to see Pai in greater depth and get to know some of the transplanted Thai "locals". I also went to an organic permaculture farm which was obviously great and I intend to return to visit as well.
