Hey All
Gary and I have had an amazing 2 weeks whizzing around the eastern side of South Africa. We started in Johannesburg, not the safest place on earth, but we survived!! We did a really interesting tour of Soweto, where we learnt a lot about the aparthied.
After that we when to Swaziland and stayed in a game park. We did a lovely walk around there and also so shopping in a great craft market!! Then it was St Lucia, this is a lovely little town and we got to see lots and lots of Hippos!!!
We went diving in Durban and saw an incredible moray eel. But we didnt see any of the city (again it isnt the safest place on earth!!). Then we went to coffee bay - absolutley fantastic! It is a beautiful little beach getaway and we met some really lovely people there, as well as doing some surfing. Next was Cinsta, another beach place and again more surfing - my legs are now black and blue from falling off so much!!! We also did a bike ride to a traditional Xhosa village where Mama Tofu (awesome lady!) told us all about the customs etc.
We are now in Port Elizabeth and are getting ready to meet my parents and brother tomorrow. Which means it really isnt long until we are home to terrorise you all again!!!!
