Hello friends and family!
The past few weeks have been amazing! We had a safe but long trip from Kenya to Uganda. We took a 15 hour bus ride to get to Kampala, where we had our 3 day vacation. We were able to shop around in the city and relax! After our time off, we were able to go to a African introduction, which is an engagement ceromony. We dressed up in traditional african dresses. After a few days preparing, we went to different islands on Lake Victoria. There are no words to explain how amazing the islands were. We stayed at Osannde orphanage that was on the lakeside. The orphange had 160 beautiful children there! The kids were little angels and had amazing chapels where they would sing there heart out to God everyday. The children taught us alot on how to worship God, regardless of age. They also were constantly praying for us, which was so encouraging!
The first few days we went to different little islands where we held church services and crusades. The crusades were awesome! We saw many people give their life to Jesus and get baptized! All of us were able to preach, share testimonies, sing and dance for the islanders. The last 4 days, Izzy and Matt went to a different island with the missionaries we were working with, to do more crusades. The girls stayed back and held womens and children conferences, which went great!
We had an amazing time on the islands and we all grew so much, although it was challenging. The islands were pretty basic, so it allowed us to appreciate so many things much more. Thank you all so much for all the prayers and love. We were able to see so much fruit these past few weeks. It has been so beautiful seeing God move the way he does. Please continue praying for us as we transition to Morocco. God bless and we miss everyone so much!
