I feel right at home in this antidisestablishmentarian city. Everywhere i go i can smell revolution.
Budapest is Grand. Which according to an Irish girl i met, means it is okay. But it is more than okay, it is Fab.
On my first day i did the normal thing, and took to the streets to explore. I had just finished this really nice slice of pizza, which was cooked in this little hut in amongst all these market booths, in a wood fired oven that looked atleast 100 years old. T'was very nice. Anyhow. I was sitting on the edge of a fountain (and no i didn't fall in or try to climb it) and this tall man dressed in a suit and tie came up to me and commented on the beautiful music two Peruvian men were producing, i agreed as it was quite nice.
So we began to talk and within about 5 min his true purpose was revealed, yes thats right he thought i was a male prostitute.
Ha ha, that was just for you dad. No, no, no. He was a johovus witness (not sure how it is spelt) and we spent the next two hours discussing in detail religion, politics and God. I am usually one to sort of get out of these situations as soon as I possibly can, however; this man was intensly interesting. He currently resides in Taiwan, where he is learning chinese at a university. Although he is orignally from Germany and Lived in America for many years, and the best part, his name was Woolfreed ha, best ever.
So yeah had a long chat with him, and went to see a movie at the international film festival which was being held here at the time, although it was not in english I managed to follow quite well.
A lot to see a do here really. I am about to go see a few sites, and do the revolution walk, Yay!!!!
okay well next stop Prague.
Love you all loads. Alex xxx
