After an early rise and 3.5hrs on a slow ship, we arrived in Paros.
We walked along the foreshore stopping at many hotels, Dan as you could imagine, carefully inspecting the rooms. Finally, we found 'Hotel Irene', right on Livadia beach, about 600m along the foreshore from Paprika, the major town. That night we had a fantastic authentic greek dinner & dessert at a taverna not far from the hotel, overlooking the beach. It is so picturesque here, watching the sun set while eating dinner was so romantic and movie like! Unlike Santorini, everything is at sea level, although not as spectacular, it was great to be by the waters edge.
Paprika has beautiful small cobblestone streets lined with many different shops & cafes. At night, the foreshore comes alive with many taverna's, cafes and bars filled with locals & tourists.
