kung fu, oysters and a jade monkey!

Slept late yesterday so missed breakfast! Suppose it's not too bad though 'cos we didnt book breakfast but when we arrived we discovered that we get a free continental brecky anyways which consists of a huge bowl of fresh chopped fruit, several pastries, coffee and juice!

Went to find Kowloon park which was nice and relaxing thought very hot, had an aviary etc the same stuff that usual city parks have.

Then we went on the metro up to the markets, now you may ask why when we dont like shopping and hate markets even more! (we have no answers either) but now we have met the chinese versions of pikeys! Oh and they kept calling me missy!! yep missy i say!!!

Well when we came home we were still suffering the effects so decided to chill in the hotel coffee shop which ended up with us having a buffet - bloody hell how much food can one eat?? Jamie ate way too much seafood - oysters (with tobasco sauce), sushi, salmon, prawn, shrimp and other undescribable things, though i passed on the oysters. The deserts were just as bad very nice but God only knows what we actually ate!

Today we just about made it to brecky, but decided to spend the day chilling by the pool (which is on the hotel roof), managed an hour and melted away so went to watch a kung fu performance in the park, came back and tried the pool again. I decided to brave it and went in and we are now int he background of some poor bride and grooms pictures! Picture the scene - us 2 in the pool and in walks a bride, groom, camera man and bridesmaid who then proceeed to take nice wedding poses around the grecian pillars at the pool side while we try and blend into a corner, then along comes half of hong kong to watch!! My embarasment of being in bathers in public is now cured i can tell you!

Tonght we are trying to dodge the wedding party and have been to the jade market on the hunt of a jade monkey, before settling for drinkies in the bar and yep sorry mother in law but we eat the beer nuts (figured they couldnt do any more harm than the ocotopus and oysters)

Love to all xxx
