Ok, Here goes.

Vienna.

Amazing. I really like it here.

It took me the best part of a day to get here, 8 hours non stop on a train :(

So i only really got to spend one day here.

I got in about 5pm yesterday, and then wandered the streets looking at all the strange hairstyles the wacky veiannese were sporting, and telling dirty begger children to leave me alone whilst i was eating my macdonalds.

After my scrumptuos and well deserved fead, i decided to walk down the street a little further and stumbled upon a cinema called "the english cinema". Which excited me enourmously as i have been hanging out to see Harry Potter 5 now for like 3 weeks, thinking i would have to wait until i got to scotland to see it.

So I bought myself a ticket to the 8:30 session, and returned a little later to watch the film. So There i am waiting patiently for the film to beggin, and it does...for about 5 minutes. Then everything goes dark. There was a power out, and like mum aptly put it "i thought that only happened in perth?" seemingly not. Well It turned out to be a good thing, as there was this guy siiting across from me, and its weird as before the movie began i was thinking to myself "that guy looks really interesting, i bet he would make a good friend" it was probably because he looked like peter jackson. Anywho, he was interesting and we started talking about harry potter, lord of the rings and his pilgramige through Israel earlier this year.

He was an american also, so it gave me a chance to brush up on some foreign politics :)

So getting to the main point of my story, we met up this morning to explore Vienna together, and around 2 this arvo, we stumbled upon this really big water fountain, and we both thought it a superlative idea to climb up one side and get a young asian couple to take out photo...well that was before i fell...in the water...from 5 metres up.

So yes my leg hurts, and my ego was a little bruised for a minute or so.

But as i said, it was worth it :)

Tomorrow I am off to Budapest, on bus this time so it should be a little more comfortable.

All my love
alex
