Hey all, soory I haven't written much for a long time, but the internet, as mentioned, can be hard to find...asn its been harder to find time for everything too!
kay..so last seen in Port Campbell...then in was Robe..
Robe was on the 16th, adn our first camping night. We got there and were super excited to see a huge bouncy pillow (think bouncy castle shaped like a pillow and good for 15 adults....woot!!) We set up and started jumping then looked around the camp....some gals got an ice cream bar called Golden Gaytime...which is just ice cream with carmal, choclate, and then the like crushed cookies..really good....and hello.. GAYTIME!!!!! hehe, its now an addiction (and i still haven't had one yet)
kay, so then we had a barbie, and started a game called Murder (you get 3 pieces of paper (one name , one weapong, adn then one location) and you go kill that person, then take their kill..until you've won or died.
good fun. Greg kicked ass ...
there was a park adn a storm so it was fun but then we all froze.

next was Adelaide, where we had dinner with Sarah..here last meal, and we gave her money adn a book with all of our little comments, because shes just new so we only got her for 7 days, a training period..., and now we have Mark. hes cool too.
the dock was pretty and Chris adn Kat and I went to a shark mueseum...yay

then Mt Remarkable where we went for a little hike and saw lots of emus, kangaroos adn wallabies...good fun. More frezzing camping.

Coober Pedy is soo hot in summer that 90% of the people live underground, and also they have opals there (70% of worlds) so theres lots of cool mines and caves...but its also a bit dangerous for that...really sweet place. We made some bad jokes about where the people would come from adn why anyone would move there so then Jim said they used camels....umm....mating style? Camel-children...yeah..good fun. Have great pizza at like the only restaurant in town and then went to lame underground hotel bar, then back to awesome dorm room where we crawled around in caves...sweet

Up at 4:30am to be on road at 5...ugh.
Uluru sucked to drive to but it was cool once we got there because we set up tents then watched the sunset on the rock with champange and cheeese and crackers. (sorry my spelling sucks so much today btw)
played catch, went to bed..got up hiked around Uluru, discussed how the indiginous peoples don't want people to walk up the rock for spiritual reasons, but then they sell some special tours anyhow...hmm. Walked up rock in the afternoon.(Greg says i'm making it sound to easy....here....WAS FRIGGIN HARD!!! PEOPLE HAVE DIED... HARD !)(oh, adn Greg would also like to add that he adn Mark almost died going off path to rescue Sarahs coat...heroic and stupid...hmm)
Next day was sunrise at the rock then we walked around another rock..Kata tjuta and then drove to Kings Canyon and went quad biking in the sand at sunset..was really pretty, pretty fun and totally dirty. tenting again.
We did a hike around Kings Canyon and saw the Garden of Eden...was really long hike after all the other ones
drove some more and then did the camel riding for 30mins. they only had one speed which was slow, but it was funny when Janis, Chris and Jim couldn't get their camels to stop eating.
Alice Springs had been having really cold nights so we upgraded to a hostel instead of more camping. Annies Place took us in, but not really..one of the rooms was already full... so were staying a haven, which is nice. Went shopping today and swam in pool for about 5 minutes before frezing.
Kay...off to see new Harry Potter.
Catch ya'll later
Chris : )
100% happy
