Hey everyone, it was great to hear from you all on the message board! Keep them coming cuz I miss all of you! So when I thought of Belgium before I came here I just pictured a lot of people walking around eating waffles. Turns out, I was right:) The smell of waffles fills the streets and it is so wonderful. Allie and I got here about 2 today and then went to the hotel and then went to sightsee. The buildings are so beautiful and it seems like a city you could really live in. Tomorrow we are going to play Belgian patriots for the day since tomorrow is there national day. We are going to watch a military parade and see the royal family at the palace. We also plan to go and see the EU buildings tomorrow.
Well, I'm going to bed now, but I hope to hear from you all on the message board!

PPS. Amy and Allison-I was so excited because I got to use my Spanish at the train station in Paris and I knew everything to say and I said it smoothly!
