On my last day in Sanya the sun came out again - so at least I could get a bit of a tan. (Not much though, as I was using SPF 50) I spent the morning mucking around in the water (you can't really call is swimming), and then had lunch with Toni and Phillip. As Sanya is firmly in Russian Hands, we decided to go to a Russian Restaurant (a mistake, if you ask me, but then again, who does). I had some shrimps, but I think they were either too greasy of already gone bad, anyway my stomach hurt afterwards. Bad Russians. And they played Russian music really loud. Again, bad Russians. I had one last yummy fruit puree ice cream and then off to the airport. There they made us leave the plane, as apparently the weather was too bad in Shanghai to land - we spent about an hour walking around on the air field (there are about 5 daily flights from that airport, so no real danger of being run over) before we were allowed back on the aircraft. We had a few turbulences on the way (I've been through worse) and safely landed in Shanghai. I had just missed the last Maglev train, so I had to take the bus, which meant spending 1 1/2 hours on te road instead of 45 minutes. Then off to sleep, as the next day was my first day at work.
