Yep, Florence is really all it's cracked up to be – believe the hype! There are huge crowds at every point of interest back my point.
It was one of the loudest train journeys I have ever taken, but my tired eyes managed to get some sleep as we rode into the heart of the city. The day was smiling down on me as I walked the historic streets with Sebastian - the guitarist in the orchestra on board the Navigator of the seas. We started early on our mission to Florence and it was well worth the effort. Pictures really do say a million words and as you can see from the rushed shots I took it's a truly beautiful place. On days like this I love my job so much - life is good...
