Did you know that in the north of Holland there are some islands? The largest is Texel (Te-ss-el) Old people go here to retire, grow tulips, or raise sheep. Makes for some nice colorful scenery. After Amsterdam we decided we needed to chill out even more. We camped right on the beach and enjoyed not having to string the fly on the tent for the four nights we slept there. It was the off-season so the campsite was very quiet and we had plenty of animals to keep us company.
