Magwananee from AFRICA. Our chances to get online are rare, and when I can, uploading pictures is not an option. I am sure we will have lots of videos and photos to shower you with when we return. I wanted to tell you about our day yesterday, as it is a typical day here, one of great significance. We are up by 6:00 am (yes parents, it is possible) and out the door by 7:00 am. We went to a place about 30 minutes drive called Dzvarisakwa. This is a desperately poor area where there is little infrastructure. In fact, the sewer waste ran along the road and we had to cross it to get into one of the schools. We ministered in three schools before lunch. In those three schools alone we touched almost 6,ooo kids. After lunch we went to two orphanages and at each of them we handed out toys, picked up kids and played and painted faces and gave out candy and had a fun time. Some of our team have been blessed enough to have a child pee on them as they hold them! After the two orphanages we went to a boys home for boys aged 10-18. They take boys out of the home at age 10 because they begin to look toward sexual activity if they are still in the home at age 10. They didn't have electricity, so we did our program and then Kelly spoke as it got very dark. We finished and then handed out glow sticks, they had never seen anything like them. After that, we went to a restaraunt for dinner called the Blue Bananna. It is a Thai place. The bill came out to 19 million dollars. We arrived back to the house around 8:00 pm and everyone went straight to bed. We have been to bed by around 8:00 pm each night. Right now it is just before 7 am on Friday morning, our last day of ministry here. Thank you to all who have been thinking and praying for us, this has been a significant time in each of our lives. I will most likely not have another opportunity to write, so we will see you home on Monday! Parents, check the youth website at www.epicuth.com for our flight itinerary. You are expected at the airport on MOnday to pick up your child. God Bless.
