This weather is unbearable. It rains and rains and never stops. Well, it does stop for a few hours, but that's when the terrible wind blows the worst. I wake up at the sound of a jackhammer, for some wise ass decided to change all the water pipes in our street, which should take just about 12 weeks - enough to spoil almost every morning of this miserable summer. OK, so I am up, and it's close to 8am. The weather. Oh, the weather! Wish it was sunny for just a few days, so I could simply smile at this dude with the cigarette butt sticking out his face (who keeps hammering all morning just in front of our main room window), and, with the prospect of a pleasant day, get my self ready for a short trip.
Oh no, but not today. Maybe tomorrow. Quick look at the BBC Weather site... d-oh! Not good. This weather simply doesn't seem to have an intention to change. No, not in the next couple of days. Hope it all gets better in time, before our guests arrive. What will we do? What if it simply doesn't stop raining? Can four young souls possibly spend two weeks sitting at home playing cards? Four people in a one-bedroom flat. Imprisoned between four walls of this lousy little place.
Gawd, how I wish it stopped raining!
