The end...
That's it. We're done. Graduation is over, the unit dispanded and we're travelling on our own from now on.
We had a great time in Jerusalem, seeing all the other teams again and meeting our friends. It was a time of sharing, sightseeing and preparing for going back home. We had the pleasure of having Femi Oni, our first international speaker from lecture phase, in Jerusalem and he shared and ministered to us on Wednesday. And then there was the commissioning and graduation and the good byes after a nice party with good food.
Saying good bye is always sad but at the same time it's time for starting something new.
Here's a little overview of the things the members of our team are doing next - that's the last update!
Sarah: Our Aussie is travelling to Amsterdam, Netherlands, to be a mission builder for a month or so. After some more travelling, mainly in the States, she's going back home to see her family and to get ready for whatever God wants her to do.
Raphaël: The tall Swiss has a lot of travelling plans. Middle east, Portugal, may be Holland and then US and back to New Zealand. After that he has to spend some more time in the Army and then - God knows!
Andreas: Our amazing Andreas enjoys some days back in Thailand (diving, beach, good food and finally done with the low budget travelling ;o) and goes back to Switzerland soon and back to work.
Jeremy: Our leader doesn't know what to do for aftertravel... I suggest: join the reunion in Switzerland! :o) However, he's staying in Tel Aviv for a week and going through the staff debrief. Later he's gonna see his family back home and after that New Zealand is calling him back to lead the next school - what a blessing!
Lisa: Our schottish leader will be found in Canada after staff debrief. There she'll meet some of her friends from her own DTS and after that - university? more travels? working in an organisation? God knows where she can be the most effective!
Jaimie: Wazz' up? Some time in Halifax with friends and then back home to Canada and getting ready for Media school. She did a great job with our slideshow, I hope you'll have the pleasure to watch it. Thanks so much!
Laura: Our beautiful Californian girl is hanging out at the beach in Tel Aviv to get some energy for a lot of travels through Europe. Greece, Rome, Paris and Switzerland are only a few stops she's gonna have. And then? Finding a job, maybe something like event manager? We'll see.
Eliane: The traveljournal update writer is hanging out at the beach in Tel Aviv, too. After going to Barcelona and Rome I'll be hosting a whole bunch of people (about 12 ...) in Switzerland. Later I'll be in the Netherlands for a short visit and then university starts soon.
Yeah, that's it. I hope you had fun reading our updates and it gave you a little insight in our time around east asia. God blessed our team richly and we are thankful for his goodness! Thanks for your support in reading, encouraging, praying...
Have a great time and be blessed!
Love
For the FEA-team (the 8 disciples, team international)
Eliane Hagmann
Ps: China doesn't win again... Hopefully! :o)
