Yesterday a friend phoned me up and suggested going for a few games to the Bowlplex, which is a huge bowling alley in the fascinating Brighton Marina. We stopped at a restaurant, where another friend of ours works as a waiter over the summer, for a quick chat and a pizza, which we had to buy in order to get the beer we really came in for :)
Then off to Marina, where I first pitifully lost the first game of bowling, then (with a score of 91 pts. - you see I am just not good at this game :)) I won the next game, which was rather a series of lucky coincidences than a result of my bowling skills.
We finished our drinks and set off for the Brighton centre, where we meandered for another hour until we decided to return home. While Barbora and Rado were trying to come up with a plan, I dedicated my time to taking some pictures of Brighton at dusk, although I already have a ton of these pictures on my computer.
Yesterday was Brighton, probably due to its being a Tuesday night, very quiet and lifeless. Such a strange combination, for Brighton is bustling with people all year round.
