Well we finally made it to Sydney and it was bloody raining ,typical, but Jan has been waitnig so long to get here that we weree detirmined to make a short visit a really good one.
We met a couple in the camp site the first night and tagged along with them and went into the city the next day. They were going to do the harbour brigde climb, after checking it out we ended up doing it ourselves, even though it was chucking it down more than 300 people climbed it that day.It was quite expensive, but the views were fantastic and the tour was really good and well worth it.It took about 3 and a half hours from start to finish by the time we got kitted up in all the safety equiptment.
After the climb we hit the near by bars for afew drinks, the views of the harbour bridge and the Opera house at night really were something, and the fact that we climbed the bridge made it that bit more special.
The next day we went for a tour of the Opera house which Jan was really looking forward to. It was alot more interesting than i expected, and of course i had to take lots of pics of Jan on the steps just outside.Although we had hoped for better weather we really enjoyed our 3 days in Sydney and meeting the couple Alexander and Sarah made it that little bit more enjoyable.(even though they ended up taking my bloody rain coat by mistake)
We will defiantely try to visit this beautiful city again one day but we be watching out for the weather and take more money so we can treat ourselves.
