There was a multitude of strange mushrooms in Lisbon, multicoloured, triumphant, happy, grumpy, stupid, angry and everything in between. The day was a sunny shade of blue as we walked around the sturdy mish-mashed city. As usual there was a castle far off in the distance that quickly became the favoured destination, but for me the highlight was the walk through the streets. We walked up cobbled roads past museums, cafés, parks, more statues and quaint tourist shops selling nothing I would possibly want to buy -but my grandmother might. There are artists by the side of the pedestrian walkways selling their work and an array of different people offering hash and skunk to anyone who might be interested. The sellers even go as far as to show their product on the street as they’re trying to shift their gear. One memorable dealer blurted out “do you want to buy sunglasses…or Hash?”
