clogs, cheese and the red light district

The main thing is that Ali and I were both very well behaved. On the way to our hotel we stopped at the cheese and clogs factory, Ben tried a pair on as a joke- they look pretty uncomfortable to me! On arrival to the hotel we were given a nice suprise- upgraded to the Novotel which was nice for our last 2 nights! The first evening in Amsterdam we were introduced to the red light district, we walked down skinny alley with all the ladies in the window and walked by many dodgy looking "coffee shops". It is a real eye opener. We had a feast at a Tibetan restaurant with Damo and Ben (the bus driver), had a couple of drinks and called it a night.. we had to be up early for sightseeing!
