Sights in and around Anchorage

On July 4th we decided to do some sightseeing and since I so enjoy driving The Turnagain Arm around Cook Inlet we decided to go to Beluga point in search of whales. I haven't seen any yet nor did I that day but this would be the spot to try and see them. We had excellent weather and had a impromptu picnic at the same time. I also go a chance to shoot some sights in and around Anchorage. There was resolution Plaza a monument erected to remember the landing of Captain Cook and the off to eartquake park for pics of Mt Susitna, The Talkeetna Mts and Anchorage from the other side of Cook Inlet
