|  | | a nice day in Nice (sorry, I couldn't help it) | | | | | so the rain gods were smiling upon us. Either that, or they couldnt distinguish us from all the other people on the beach. We had delicious fruit crepes for breakfast and then made it to the beach with the knowledge it was supposed to rain in the afternoon. But miraculously the grey clouds would roll in and hover for only a few minutes and then blow off to the right. SO we actually had a fabulous afternoon lying on the beach. The water was SO cold but very refreshing. Felt very sun-kissed after the day. walked around a bit and found a local place to eat. then unfortunately had to get on an overnight train, which was not fun at all, but at least i was all warm from the sun!
