I cant believe I'm finally up to date on the journal I am typing this entry in an internet cafe in Airlie Beach. We arrived here quite early on the 1st June(yesterday) as it was only a couple of hours from Mackay. We found a really nice camp site with a swimming pool, tv room, games room and good showers etc. We had a wander round the town which is OK but not as nice as I thought it would be, dont really know what I expected. In the afternoon we had a swim in our pool then chilled out round the van playing cards in the sun. Last night we went for a walk around the town and had a few beers. We shared a subway foot long roll for our tea then went back to the van to play more cards. We only know one game of cards so I reckon we are going to get pretty bored of it soon.
Got up early this morning and Stu has gone to the local gym to do some boxing and I am here typing up the journal. I dont know when I'll get on it again but hopefully it wont be too long. We're not sure how long we are staying here as we might take a trip to one of the Whitsunday Islands so I'll keep you updated. Ta Ra. xxx
