Yesterday we took a boat to Isla del Sol, believed by the Incas to be the birthplace of the sun god. Once again, no cars on this island, just donkey power and Shank's pony!
We were led to the hostal of our choice (for a small tip) by a young boy. The room we were shown cost a little bit more than we budgeted for but, as it was on the top floor with balcony (with deck chairs) and panoramic views of the lake and mountains..........
So not much to do here except take walks, eat, drink, relax and watch the sunrise/sunset - bliss! (although whilst watching the sunrise early this morning, the peace and tranquility of the moment was spoilt by a resident of a certain country giving a loud "Whooooh" just as the sun appeared over the mountains!!)
