Arriving at the airport and after checking in for our flight to Vitoria (via Sao Paulo), we came to the realisation that there were no planes landing or departing. The airport was closed due to bad weather and very low lying cloud.
Several people were unhappy, including us, who had to meet Dans family that night.
After 6hrs at the airport, the airline finally cancelled our flights and provided accommodation at the Best Western for the night, inc buffet dinner and bfast...(yes, ads is gaining pounds, much to his disappointment).
Having re scheduled our flights, we were praying the weather would improve tomorrow.
