A Wild Night In Busan

Here we go!

So, Jim and I decided to take a trip to visit the lovely, and adorable Jessica! They met a few weeks back and discussed meeting again in the interim.

We left Pohang for Busan around 8pm or 9pm. J complained the whole way. For him, the bus took too long; it was better to travel there by cab; the trip wasn't worth it; the food wasn't good; the restrooms were too dirty. Yes, the list goes on. Anywho, we finally made it to Busan and were on our way.

Nothing spectacular happened. We simply made our way to what for me was a new part of Korea. Jim had been there once before as I mentioned before.

We made our way to the U2 club where Jessica and her pals were hanging. They weren't so happy to see us, to say the least. One of their friends was drunk and wanted to fight with Jim. I was just tagging along and made it quite clear that if a fight broke out that I wouldn't join in. Personally, fighting is stupid, and I don't want to risk deportation.

Anywho, there wasn't a fight. We left the club and returned later. We danced a little, and I played a game of pool. I came close to winning when anothr drunk and seemingly jealous woman interrupted the billiard game by moving the balls.

I had just taken the shots when the balls were trying to settle on the table. She grabbed the 8-ball and then another ball and pocketed one of them with her hand. I would have liked to have played the game out fully, but what could I do? Would I have won? That is a mystery I can ponder for a long time. Her friend said that it was an honest mistake. The girl tought the game was over. I forgive her.

Note to anyone reading!!!! These are all pictures taken last night. The guy sleeping on the concrete was almost killed. He was drunk and after waking from his slumber walked into the street where a cab nearly ran into his head!!! Jim was witness to the event. Just minutes prior we were taking photos of him for kicks.

Well, we are still in Busan, and looking for something to do. Until I write again...

Be careful fellow travelers!
