Byron Bay - East Coast begins

Finally arrived in Byron Bay after a 13-hour long bus journey from Sydney. It's such a lovely place and a true backpacker town. The hostel i'm staying in is the best one i've ever been in, with a swimming pool which is a welcome change! It's also a lot warmer up here than down in Syndey and Melbourne so I'm back to wearing shorts and thongs! Will be leaving Byron Bay tomorrow and making my way up to Surfers Paradise which will also be another backpacker's heaven...Watching the Saints against Derby tonight, looking well forward to it as there will be other Saints present too!
