Glass House Mountains

We had a very nice drive up into the Glass House mountains just North of Brisbane on Sunday, we drove past Australia Zoo and then turned off to have stop at a marvellous look out area which we earmarked as a good spot for a picnic int future, we continued on up a dirt road of approx 9km to Woodford and then followed the road to Maleny, Maleny is not a particulalry attractive town and although our stomachs were grumbling we decided to continue on to find somewhere with a nice view for Lunch, stopping at a little restaurant in Wipa with views over to the Sunshine coast, we had a nice steak for Lunch (very expensive)picked up some maps and then continued on to Monteville, Monteville is a beautiful little village will lots of nick knack shops restaurants and cafe's in a beautiful setting, we wandered around sticky beaking in all the shops before hopping back into the car to head back into Brisbane.
