Thursday we had a look at the Royal pavilion it is pretty ugly on the outside and very decadent and over the top on the inside, it was Rebuilt in the 19th century by architect John Nash, the building features a unique mixture of classical and Indian styles, which has been labelled as "Hindu-Gothic." It was the seaside home of George IV and is undergoing a full restoration A Doctor Who exhibition was on at the Pier, so we wandered down there for a look, it was pretty interesting and most of the displays were the real props used in the latest Dr Who series. We hung around for a bit to watch the lights on the pier come on before heading back to our unit We also managed to pick up a special priced deal on a trip to Paris on the Euro star, a first class rail trip including meals and champagne to Paris staying in a four star hotel for Sunday 2nd October we will certainly be looking forward to that it should be great.
This was our last full day in Brighton (Thursday) we pick up the hire car tomorrow morning and head off into the wide grey yonder.
