One month of outreach!
Yes it's true, a month of outreach already! We can look back at a beautiful time of doing God's work in South America.
So Argentina is behind us and we're focused on Peru now.
Argentina's highest point has been our visit to the desert. We spend there 4 days without toilet and no showering. The guys have been building a wall for a poor family and as girls we drank some mate (Argentinian tea drunk in a special way) with the lady and cleaned the area while praying.
Some interesting happenings: killing of a goat (Dan was holding the legs, poor thing) and we ate him the same night, a huge challenge to find a place behind the bushes at night, pure darkness, for 'nr.2'. I was afraid the wild cows would scare me there haha.
At night we sat outside admiring the beautiful sky full of stars and have worshiptime and sharing the word around the fire. I'll show some pictures later on about this time and our drive up there, cause I can't explain it with words, pictures say sometimes much more ;)
We are in Cuzco now where we had a beautiful cultural experience at the Machu Picchu. Cuzco is 3500 meters above sealevel and coming from a country that is below sea level I can defenitely feel it! Breathing here is hard.
Tomorrow we will be heading to Iquitos where we will be staying in the jungle. God is great! What a priviledge it is to travel to so many diferent places and share life, which is life in Jesus Christ!
So I don't know if we will be able to write something like an update. Please pray for our time with the people from the villages in the Amazone, that we will be safe from weird diseases and stuff.
God bless you guys and love you all!
God is good, all the time!
