forbidden fruit

Last night I was going to go read at a park, but all of the courtyards by my place were closed. So I went home and watched 2 episodes of 24.. I have to be careful or I will get addicted! I stayed up kind of late and hard a hard time getting up this morning.

I got to the office and Nat had left a note saying he would be in around 11. So he called and I decided to meet he and Ashley in his neighborhood for lunch. We went to this outstanding tapas restaurant. Everything was 3-4 euros so we ordered 4 different things and then a crème broulee for dessert. They torched the crème broulee right in front of us! It was cool. It was a great restaurant for sure. Then Nat and I headed up to the office.

Ben & Jerrys is having a free cone day on April 17th all across the world. Also during that week, the French Presidential elections are being held. So B&J has this commercial going on with this cow running for president and it says “vote for woody”. Well Nats dad goes by Woody, so Nat took a picture by the sign (see picture).

We did some work and then I headed home. I had 2 euros and wanted some dinner. So I got a baguette, a small thing of mozzarella, and a tomato. I made a delicious sandwich and then headed to the American Church for the young adult scavenger hunt. There were 7 of us and we all went in one group – it was a photo scavenger hunt. I realized that all of the scavenger hunts I had been on in the past were with my nerdy and creative friends. Well.. most of the people tonight weren’t so creative. It said take a picture of a red car, or a flower.. and they just took a picture. Lame. All of the ones that Kati I had influence on were pretty amusing. I only have one of the pix on my camera, but one prompt was “act out a scene from the old testament”. I realized that I was eating an apple and why not do Adam and Eve. So Michel and I found a tree and that’s what the picture is from.

Anyway it was a pretty fun time.. the weather is nice tomorrow so I will most likely be outside. Later
